working hard to make your life easier

hi folks.

i was asked by nathan hubbard a few months back to contribute to a lo-fi compilation of drum solos to be released by his castor and pollux music on cassette. that compilation, called 'working hard to make your life easier' was released digitally today, and there's a pretty wide  spectrum of avant-y music and personalities on display. my slightly scary track is in the number 8 slot, called 'rectangle music 2.' the other musicians involved are: Paul Kikuchi, Greg Burrows, Nathan Hubbard, Paolo Sanna, Tim Daisy, Curtis Glatter, TJ Goode (whose solo 'valerian' will not make you sleepy or smelly the way the root will), Ted Byrnes, and Frank Rosaly. i'm very grateful to share some binary and tape with these folks, and to have been asked to participate. take a listen.

if you buy it, the $5 get's split amongst the players, which is cool.[bandcamp width=350 height=786 album=82707383 size=large bgcol=ffffff linkcol=0687f5]
